QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Rank: Fire Office I (FOI)
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Eligibility: Second Level Eligibility (CS Prof/RA 1080/FOE)
Age: 21-30 years old
Height: 1.62 m or 5’4 for Male; 1.57 m or 5’2 for Female
Weight: Not more or less than five (5) kg from the weight corresponding to his/her height, age and sex

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT

  1. A citizen of the Republic of the Republic of the Philippines;
  2. A person with good moral character;
  3. Must pass the Neuro-Psychiatric Evaluation and Medical Examination for the purpose of determining his/her Physical and Mental Health;
  4. Must not have been dishonorably discharged or dismissed for cause from previous employment; and
  5. Must not have been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude and has no derogatory records.
ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT TO FIRE OFFICER 1 RANK
  1. Application Letter (indicating the position applied for) addressed to the Regional Director, BFP-R7;
  2. Authenticated Service Record (for previous government employees);
  3. One (1) Handwritten Personal Data Sheet (PDS), (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017), print entries using BLACK BALLPEN. Do not use sign pen;
  4. One (1) authenticated copy of Transcript of Records and College Diploma;
  5. One (1) authenticated copy of Second Level Eligibility from CSC/PRC;
  6. Photocopy of Certificate of Live Birth issued by PSA;
  7. Photocopy of Certificate of Marriage issued by PSA; (if applicable)
  8. Authenticated Barangay, Mayor, Police, NBI, RTC, and MTC clearance;
  9. Authenticated Certificate of Waiver (for applicants with age and/or height deficiency/ies)
  10. Photocopy of Philhealth Card bearing your number
  11. Photocopy of Pag-ibig ID Card bearing your number
  12. Photocopy of Tax Identification Card bearing your number
  13. Photocopy of LTO, Professional Driver’s license and NC II or NC III certification from TESDA (if there’s any)

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE OF WAIVER
  1. Required documents:
    1. Certification from NCIP/NCMF (for member of ICC’s)
    2. PDL with restriction code 1,2,3
    3. PD 907 (for honor graduates)
    4. Service Record (for previous gov’t employee) and certification from NCIP or NCMP and/ or PDL 123 – for applicants 36 years and above
  2. Certificate of deficiency from the BFP Regional Office
  3. Photocopy of two (2) valid ID’s with picture
  4. 3 pcs 2×2 recent picture with name tag
  5. Original Copy of Birth Certificate from PSA
Note: Certificate of Waiver may be granted to applicants not older than 35 years old. For applicants under A, ii-iv, the height must not be lower than 5’2 for males and 5’0 for females.
